K3: Is it wrong?

With later firmware versions the K3 has a very accurate S-Meter -
especially when calibrated using a commercial grade signal generator. So
giving a report on what the S-Meter indicates is something you can do
with confidence! How often have we smiled when hearing "your signal is
only S3 but you sound like an S9, to I am giving you a 59 report"...

But with a K3, everyone can be made to sound like S9, Dave.

What I cannot understand why all stations are 5NN in contests, when they
could be 5DN, 5BN or worse. ;-|
