K3 - Just about to order one

I think it would be nice to have a K3 by field day, so I better place
my order now to have a chance.  I think I already know the answer to
this but if I place my order now and enter my cc information will they
charge it right away or will they charge it when it ships?  Also, will
there be any notice prior to it shipping?

They'll charge it when it ships unless you specify otherwise. There's no great advantage to you in paying up front, though as they state on the web page, if you're willing to put down a deposit they'll think you're a very kind person, but several from this side of the pond paid in full early to take advantage of the exchange rate.
