K3 K144XV Questions

Phil Hystad
A few questions about the K144XV...

1.  I noticed from the manual that the chassis stiffener that comes with the K144XV seems to be the same one that I already have in my late model K3 (3799).  Is this true?

2.  Although I can look it is easier to ask:  would it also be true that the need to solder in a new power connector to the RF board, or would that also be already on my late model K3?

3.  Is there a waiting queue?  If I ordered now, about how long until delivery?  In my case, I won't be able to get to it until February but I was curious if the waiting list is longer then that in which case I would order right away.

The modified chassis stiffener has been phased into production. In
general we try to ship only pieces that are necessary, based on your
serial number.

It depends on your S/N, but this, too, has recently been phased in.

It's easy to install the pin, if necessary.

Eric will have to answer this one.

A totally different question:
Is support for coarse tuning in European VHF frequency rasters (6,25 & 12,5kHz) somewhere "high" on The List?

Regarding 3., I ordered one the first day that they became available and
have heard nothing yet as to when mine will be shipped.

A few questions about the K144XV...

2.  Although I can look it is easier to ask:  would it also be true that the

3.  Is there a waiting queue?  If I ordered now, about how long until
