[K3] K3 receive sensitivity drops after transmit

I have been having some issue with receive sensitivity dropping several S units on 40m and 20m after I transmit with no change to SWR both with amplifier in line and also completely bypassed (meaning I physically disconnected the amp and went straight to the antenna from the K3).  

I am not sure what is going on but this has been happening the past couple days.  If I hit the K auto tuner while the system is bypassed signal levels go back to normal or the original signal level.  I think I read about this before on the reflector but could not find the string or the potential fix.

Any hints or suggestions on what might be going on would be very helpful.
