[K3 / K3s] Both TX Inhibit and Remote Power On ability?

Warren Merkel
Given:  CONFIG: TX INH

I would like to be able to control TX Inhibit externally from a my
custom antenna controller, yet retain the ability to power up the K3 via
the RCForb RemoteHams method.

Given that the TX Inhibit and the Remote Power On features share the
same ACC pin 7 and are mutually exclusive, has anyone found a way to
have both abilities simultaneously ?

Sure, one can add relays inline with all PTT control paths, but that
doesn't handle the situation if VOX is enabled.

Use pin 8 to power on remotely. Pin 7 can be an *output* that
indicates when power is on, or an input for TX Inhibit.
