[K3] KDVR3 re-transmiting received audio question

dmb@lightstream.net
I've encountered several instances where being able to play back a
recording of a received SSB station would have been helpful to the other
op in trying to diagnose a problem (RF feedback, distortion, mic gain
level, etc...)

A review of the KDVR3 documentation indicates that when re-transmitting
previously received and recorded audio (not a message), the transmitted
audio will be modified by the current TX Equalizer and Compression
settings. For my intended usage, this would not be desirable since the
transmitted audio wouldn't accurately reflect what was received.

Is there by chance a KDVR3 option that bypasses the TX EQ and Compressor
when re-transmitting *received* audio?

Re: [K3] KDVR3 re-transmiting received audio question

Cady, Fred
Hi Dale,
The TX equalization is saved in a configuration file, so you can save the configuration you have with the TX equalization and then set a flat equalization and save that configuration. It takes a few seconds to restore a configuration but that's one way to change from one to another.
Cheers,
