I am trying to put my new K3/100 SN 820 on the air for the first time, and I am
having a power output problem. The KPA3 is installed, I hope correctly, but I cannot adjust the output power above 12 watts. The radio behaves as if the KPA3 was not installed. I do have CONFIG: PAIO set to NOR. (What does the TEST setting do?) Can anyone suggest what I may have overlooked or done wrong? Thank you. 73, John, no8v _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Subscriber Info (Addr. John,
Go to the config KPA3 menu and keep on dialing past the KPIO stuff - Set PA nor Gill

You may have to cycle power several times for the config changes to be
picked up. I had to do this with mine when I turned the KPA on in the config.
