I wanted to set the KRX3 to one frequency and the main RX to another.
So I had the SUB RX set and wanted to set main, so I used M-V M1 to recall a frequency for main, but that set SUB RX to some random frequency I happened to have in VFO B the day I programmed M-V M1. I thought, no problem I'll use B SET. So I did B SET FREQ ENT but it doesn't seem to allow direct entry of the SUB RX. The M-V behavior isn't unexpected but I was surprised that B SET FREQ ENT didn't work. The same applies when scanning. The sub-rx becomes inaccessible. When "Independence Day" arrives, will there be facilities to scan one receiver independently of the other, on a different band? >I thought, no problem I'll use B SET. >So I did B SET FREQ ENT but it doesn't seem to allow direct entry of the >SUB RX. > >The M-V behavior isn't unexpected but I was surprised that B SET FREQ >ENT didn't work. > Good point. -- 73 from Ian GM3SEK _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Scanning and text decode/display will still be usable only with the main receiver, initially. 73, Wayne N6KR --- http://www.elecraft.com _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Since we're on the subject of the sub RX, what would it take to get IF
out from the sub RX in addition to from the main RX? 73, doug _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. I'd like to be able to set the VFO B RX frequency with BSET FREQ ENTER.

When time permits, the first issue is to avoid overwriting the sub-rx frequency when a scan memory is recalled for use by the main rx. -- 73 from Ian GM3SEK ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
