K3 - MCU 2.57 ?

Jeff Wandling W7BRS
Does anyone have  zip copy of the Firmware set that corresponds to MCU
2.57 ?  Email me directly.  I searched the FTP site at Elecraft and
couldn't find it.

I need to regress an issue that came up and I'm not sure if it's firmware
related.  With the step back to 2.57, I'll be able to quickly scratch
firmware off the list of possibilities.

MCU 2.57 / DSP 1.94,  Oct 24, 2008

Thanks,

-jeff

I have it - I'll put it somewhere and send you a pointer off-list...

TX Power settings by band?

W7GJ, Lance
I suspect there must be a way to do this, but I have not found it yet in the
manual...  Is there some way to store the power settings per pand?  If you have
different amplifiers (or no amplifier) between bands, it is really helpful to make
sure that you don't overdrive (and possibly blow up) an amplifier when you
quickly switch bands.  I know the modes seem to be automatically remembered per
band, at least the difference between USB and LSB.  I look forward to any
guidance.  MNI TNX and VY 73, Lance

Hi Lance,

nabble search found this:

http://n2.nabble.com/K3-SSB-Power-Control-and-ALC-Metering-td1113528.html#a1113528

Basically, "CONFIG:PWR SET" = "Per Band".

See the "Per-Band Power Control" topic on pg. 26 of the current
version (D1) of the Owner's Manual.
