Hello Don,
The low SSB peak power output (approx, 50%) when Tune puts out full power is a textbook case of what I have found. I can also confirm your other findings (ie., the 100 watt SSB spike at beginning of transmission). I am surprised more people haven't noticed this. I have emailed Wayne who apparently is working with Lyle Johnson on this problem. Lyle is working on a firmware change to correct this. Roy Morris W4WFB K3 #323
