Re: K3 Mini plug/jack mis-contact

Aki,

There should be no difference in the various mini-plugs as long as they
are the 3.5mm type.  If you are using a 2.5mm, it might work for a
while, but will be loose in the jack and will not make good contact.

If you do have a 3.5mm plug and it is loosing contact, check to be
certain the jacks protrude through the rear panel sufficiently.  If the
KIO3 module is not properly seated, the jacks will be recessed and will
cause the problem you seem to be having.

Re: K3 Mini plug/jack mis-contact

In reply to this post by ayoshida
I am having some of the usual "dirty contact" issues with the 3.5 mm plugs....reaching back and
twisting the plug in the socket restores normal operation.

I've seen this (as I a msure everyone else has) on lots of plugs with nickel (?) plating since
that became the rage. Makes me long for the days of silver-plated everything......oh well.
