I knew there was a reason for K3 - it goes a step beyond the K2 !
Lets nickname it Everest! -- Cats know exactly how we feel. They don't give a damn… but they know. And the ST6 was a RTTY unit from Hal Devices. I just didn't know of the
Cajun links, no wonder they were great to fiddle around with. 73, Bob K2TK David Cutter wrote: > Here's a site that will show you K1 thro K8 and some KXs, some > connection with communications :-) > > http://www.redphonebox.info/history.htm > > David > G3UNA > > _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. AAAHHHH of course. Thanks Don.
I think the jury is still out as to whether the K3 deserves the praise "Everest". Maybe but we've all got our K3 feature or modification wish list. |

Well, K1 is in some parts of the world know as a martial arts fighting sport: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-1 .
Especially in Japan it is hugely popular. K1 is a sport not for the faint hearted.
The K2 is very well know as the second largest mountain in the world. To climb the K2 is not for the faint hearted.
In Holland and Belgium K3 is known for something completely different. The following link is just one of many video clips they have made: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=Wd9yROC7Wd0
Can you imagine what looks I get from people when I tell them I listen to a K3?!?!
