Interesting discussion about operating parameters displayed on the K3
screen.
I think the only thing worse than not enough data is trying to cram too
much, or too small, data into a small screen.
I propose that an item for the SW development list (if it isn't there
already) be a Windoze app that takes all key parameters and displays them in
a window/bar along the top of the connected computer screen.
That way, when contesting, or working from the home station connected to a
computer, all desired operating info is available (perhaps user selectable
set/sequence) along with the eventual spectrum scope and logging software.
While on the road, you cut back to roughing it with a nice compact radio and
associated compact, but readable, display.

Seems to me that since this is an SDR, there could be a reasonable solution.
How about an alternate display mode for contesters? Or, perhaps there could
be a bunch of user-selectable options for what gets displayed by default and
what requires manual intervention to see.
