K3 Noise Reduction (NR)

Is there a further explanation of the K3 NR anywhere?  The manual doesn't say much.  Looking for the meaning / purpose of F1 thru F4 and the 4 levels inside each.

Tips and you'll see an article I wrote that explains it.
