K3 Order Delays?

Although the online page continues to indicate that K3 kit versions are being shipped in 3-5 days, I placed an order on Monday night and after querying the order got a reply that there are delays and shipping would not happen for 5-7 days. Problems, or just overloaded as a post-Dayton "ordering frenzy"?
