I don't have the numbers in front of me, but the K3 will automatically
reduce power as needed if the PA gets too hot. We've never been able to
get one that hot under normal operating conditions (including 100W key
down for 10 Minutes.)
The FP temp is more of a general ambient temp inside the K3 and is only
used for reference oscillator temperature compensation. Its not
something that will 'overheat'.
