K3 PL 1 error

rfenabled

Hi,

I removed the top covers and checked the TMP cables and repowered the radio. Error message did not display.

Tuned down the band and there are soft pops occurring while tuning and. The audio was blanked until it suddenly returned after trying to key the radio.

At first it would not produce RF but all of a sudden the TX returned and the Rx started indicating signal strength

When the fault is active there is no indication at all on the S meter

Any assistance appreciated

These symptoms would suggest to me that the synthesizer is taking unauthorized excursions. Have you done the synthesizer calibration procedure (the first item under Calibration Procedures)?
