[K3} Power-On Failure

Our friendly local power company notified us of maintenance in our area.
They would be turning power on and off intermittently throughout the day.
In preparation, I unplugged our computers and the power supply for my K3.
Several days after the work was completed I plugged the power supply back
in. When I turn on the K3, I get the yellow screen and nothing more. I
can't turn the K3 off with the power switch. Also the "when all else fails"
sequence (shift/lo hold, tap power) has no effect. Suggestions, please.
