The MC60 does work on the K3 but, at least in my case, the up-down buttons
don't work. I have mine wired for the Kenwood pin-out. > I'm not aware of anyone making a desk mic stand with PTT other than Heil" That's because they spend the most money advertising to hams. It is NOT because they are the best (they are not even close). If you want a good PTT desk mic, you should be looking in the realm of 2-way radio and commercial sound (paging mics). Shure (based in Evanston, IL) has been making a good variety of models of very good PTT desk mics for at least 80 years. Turner desk mics, long discontinued, were excellent, but are available on the used market. Astatic also made a lot of this sort of mic, the best known being the D104 and its many variants. Look for this stuff on the used market. 73, Jim K9YC ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
EV (ElectroVoice) had several good paging and "two way" dispatch mics over the years. Most are discontinued but there are still a couple mics with PTT and some of the Broadcast/Performance mics include "cough switches" that can be configured for PTT. 73, ...
