[K3] Preferred or Popular Mic For the K3

I am using the Heil HM10-5 (Has the HC-5 element) which I bought in
1998 for my FT-847.  I bought the Kenwood cable for the mic (Red
color connector) which matches the K3 perfectly.  I get great reports
on the sound of the radio with it running low power on my K3/10.
