Is there any way to print out the configuration of my radio in a form
that is human-readable? I know about the "Save Configuration" function in the K3 Utility, and have looked at the resulting file, which is not decipherable, at least by me. I'm a former denizen of the VA3CR web site, and one of the most useful things there is/was the tables giving settings that others had discovered through experimentation. Users could then decide for themselves whether to adopt things like AGC settings, based on the originator's reputation or similarities between his/her use of the radio and their own. -- 73, Pete N4ZR The World Contest Station Database, updated daily at www.conteststations.com The Reverse Beacon Network at http://reversebeacon.net, blog at reversebeacon.blogspot.com, spots at telnet.reversebeacon.net, port 7000 ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

I don't know that it prints, but it does give you several configuration items per tab page. 73 de Dick, K6KR -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Pete Smith Sent: Sunday, December 05, 2010 3:21 AM To: Elecraft List Subject: [Elecraft] [K3] Printing Configuration Is there any way to print out the configuration of my radio in a form that is human-readable? Hi Bill,
I had installed the K3 EZ program ages ago and then forgot about it. This reminded me to check it out again. It is really a useful program. Among other things it has a cool SWR plotting scheme. I have done this myself manually and plotted it in Excel. That gets tedious quickly. The K3 EZ method is very nice. 73, Mike K2MK

I've been downloading and installing updates that appear to add
functions. Is there an updated list of P3 commands somewhere to go with that? The readme says they're there, but a real command list would be a big help. 73, Jim K9YC ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
You mean RS-232 commands? The P3 Programmer's Reference manual is here:
