I picked up the Proset when I purchased the K3. I was wondering, what
exactly the 'out phase rev. switch' does? Should I be using it in bin or afx? The documentation that came with it only referred to the K2, as did the documentation on the website. -- Dave Wilburn K4DGW K2/100 - S/N 5982 K3/100 - S/N 766 "For those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know." _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Like a lot of things in life it comes down to personal choice.
I find it more productive when listening, to switch between K3 audio processing modes and the Proset phasing. If I leave things set the same way for too long I find I get more fatigued. I think that all the Proset phasing switch does is reverse the connections to one of the headset ear pieces, but I might be wrong.. 73 Stewart G3RXQ On Wed, 07 May 2008 12:21:21 -0400, David Wilburn wrote: > I picked up the Proset when I purchased the K3. I think you are right. And it sounds "unnatural" to me. I much prefer AFX
mode on the K3. It is a very interesting effect.
