K3 QRP CW vs SSB default power levels

Dennis KB7ST
Hopefully I am overlooking something simple.  I'm QRP.  When I switch to CW MODE, I'd like the K3 to switch power level to 5 watts. On the same band or other bands, when  When I switch to SSB MODE, I'd like to the K3 to switch to 10 watts.  Instead, I have to adjust the power control each time I switch between CW and SSB.  There must be a way to do this without a macro or perhaps not?

SN #4335 with 13, 2.8 and 400 8-pole filters and 10 watts. TCXO KBPF3 general coverage option.  Plus the wonderful T1 tuner and two BL2 baluns.  Back on HF after 25-year absence.

Dennis,

I would suggest two macros - one to switch to CW and set the power to 5
watts, and the other to switch to SSB and set the power at 10 watts.
Check out the MD and the PC commands in the K3 Programmer's Reference
manual.
Use your macros instead of the MODE switch.
