It's QRV, it's fantastic, and now the only problem is training the operator.
I want to thank all the gals and guys at Elecraft for a superb product. While putting this together, I constantly marveled at the precision with which everything went together. It's one thing to build some prototypes and development models where you can tweak.adjust, and rework at will, but putting something like this into a production mode requires control to the nth degree. This could have only happened at a company run by technical types rather than bean counters.
My first config was for Iambic mode. I chuckled when the default was "A" - obviously a Wayne input. :-)
Eventually I will learn my way around the nuances and differences compared to my other rigs, but for now, I am delighting in the sheer performance. Also, I will put together a list of firmware desires. First on the list is an ESP function. I want this thing to second guess the frequency, mode, and settings I had in mind. hi hi
For those who are waiting to order - don't!
