If anyone is using this combination of hardware, please advise the interface
cable connections you are using. Thanks. I have been using the RIGblaster pro with my Kenwood TS-570D (has worked very well) and now need to construct a new interface cable for the RIGblaster pro to K3. - Tony - N3ME Tony McClenny 118 Ashwood Street Bethany Beach, DE 19930-9699 (302) 539-5638 <http://www.n3me.net> www.n3me.net ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Hi, Tony. If you're trying to use the RigBlaster for a "digital mode"
interface, it's my understanding that it's not needed. The K3 has a built-in interface that eliminates the need for the Blaster. > > If anyone is using this combination of hardware, please advise the interface > > cable connections you are using. Thanks. Hi Tony:
Put your RIGblaster Pro on E-Bay and just connect your PC sound card directly to the line in and line out ports on the K3 and adjust the levels as needed. And you have probably already connected your PC to your K3 data port in order to use the K3 Utility Program. It's all explained in the manual. 73, Mike K2MK Tony McClenny Mon, 09 Mar 2009 14:40:31 -0700 If anyone is using this combination of hardware, please advise the interface cable connections you are using. Hi Tony,
I use the sound card for AFSK and wav files. All you need are direct connect cables between the computer and K3. I use N1MM for contesting, and KR1ST's AirLink Express for rag chewing on RTTY and PSK. He supports the K3. 73, Ed K3IXD aka K3IXD/4 in some contests Out of the circle PVRC member Date: Mon, 9 Mar 2009 17:40:21 -0400 From: "Tony McClenny" <[hidden email]> Subject: [Elecraft] K3 & RIGblaster pro setup To: <[hidden email]> Message-ID: <14C6A2990AFD4C89AF4E79C2DF684AF7@ham> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" If anyone is using this combination of hardware, please advise the interface cable connections you are using.
