K3 RTTY/data prosign "IM" question

RobertG
Hello...

I'm raw new to data modes, never used them in 20yrs. Now, with the K3, I'm exploring
them for the first time. I've read that the prosign "im" will terminate the end of
transmission "string?". However, when I send it with my key [no terminal program,
just the K3] it doesn't seem to terminate the transmission. Any suggestions? Thanks.
