I have K3 #512, with 2nd rcvr. I have the latest release firmware. I have the aux antenna and rx antennas jacks connected together, and fed by switchable receive antennas. My transmit antenna is approximately 120' away, and perpendicular to, the closest receive antenna.
While transmitting and using an amplifier on 160m, if I switch to my longest beverage, I see a marked increase in power output (watching the LEDs on the amplifier), as if the transmitter were being influenced by what's coming in on the RX input. I don't hear any COR chatter, however. I suspect feedback coming in from the receive antenna getting into the output and getting amplified (not desirable). I have not had any on the air complaints (yet).
Is this known behavior in this configuration?
I had already planned out (and have parts on order for) an antenna switching matrix for diversity receive, using a PIN-diode or relay shunt during transmit (for both the COR reason and also to minimize leakage from the RX ports in a multi-multi configuration), so will have a cure soon, but this seems extreme to me.
