K3: Real-time clock in VFO B display

Roy Morris-6
I must be missing something, or I must not have something turned on.  If I TAP DISP I can use VFO B to access the date or time.  Tapping DISP does not alternate the time and date on my K3 as it should according to a previous posting.  Firmware 4.05 is installed.  What am I doing wrong?  Roy Morris  W4WFB

Roy,

Tapping DISP will alternate between VFO B freq and other info. The 'other info' is determined by rotating VFO B knob.

Tapping display does not cause the display to alternate between date and
time. It simply turns whatever you have selected on/off. The only to
change from time to date is to use VFO B knob.

Roy,

To learn the "whole story" read the manual page 36.
Tapping DISP does not alternate - rotating the VFO B knob does.

Ken Kopp-3

I'm the one who made the posting about tapping
DISP and alternating between date and time.
I went through the operation step-by-step as
I typed my posting, but now I can't repeat it. (;-)

I'm puzzled ...

Re: K3: Real-time clock in VFO B display

The Smiths

Ken, it's simple, you had your K3 tuned to 8.010.10 Mhz when you were looking at the clock on the Display menu... Hi hi. That or you have a Magic K3???
