[K3] Receive Equalization - Programmers Reference

Rick Stealey

I'm trying to learn writing K3 macros.  On p4 of the Programmers Reference is an example called "EQ Mic1" where we can set up microphone equalization.  This would allow selection of eq for multiple microphones.  I would like to do a similar thing with receive equalization (different settings for my hi fi headphones vs a shelf speaker, etc).
But I don't see a corresponding command in the manual for receive equalization.  I figured it might be RE, but no.
Is it in the manual there somewhere but I don't see it, or possibly this is not implemented?

Hi,

Apparently not implemented yet. Hopefully we will see it soon as I wanmt to make macros to reduce the tonal pitch difference between USB and LSB.

No, the "RE" command is not implemented. I've suggested it, but it mayn't be a popular request.

There is long work around, something akin to a macro that runs through the keystrokes that one would use in doing the settings manually.
