K3 Remote - ERR KEY Work-around?

Rick Tavan-2
Setting up my remote station today to return to the control site, I must have jogged the hand key shorting bar or done something else to leave the KEY input to the remote K3 actuated. Arriving at the control site, I get ERR KEY on power up. Many controls work, but the VFO B display is permanently devoted to that error message, I can't key the transmitter and, worst of all, I get no audio stream that would let me at least listen. That's important because the purpose of this recently completed round trip was to test some networking problems and without audio the round trip is wasted. Is there a way to work around this, perhaps a command string through K3 Utility, so I can listen, even without transmitting?

Thanks,

/Rick

Belay that question. The audio stream is fine. I had a switching problem at
the control site, now fixed. I can continue my network testing. Sorry about
the bandwidth.
