We are considering aftermarket accessories for the K3 and welcome your
ideas for new products. We are especially interested in kits ...
o Composed of one or more printed circuit boards.
o For which there's sufficient interest to justify producing 60 units.
o We could design, produce, and offer for sale for less than $40.
o That might require custom engraving and/or pad printing.
We are already considering an external K3 mic adaptor based on our
internal K2 adaptor. It would work with (just about) any mic that has
an 8-pin Foster connecter, and permit use of either the K3's front panel
connecter or the rear panel mic and PTT jacks.

On a personal note, we consider 13 April 2005 to be the "official"
beginning of our Rework Eliminators(TM) collaboration. Also, we reached
a significant milestone last month when we received our 500th customer
order! It has been our pleasure serving the Elecraft community the past
four years, and we look forward to many more.
