K3: RxA mod

I was browsing the mods applicable since my K3 was "born" and while the majority of mods carry an explanation of what they were for, the RxA mod doesn't.

I've failed to find what it was for, so any chance of a reminder, please?

It improves the strong signal protection for the Rx ANT input on early
KXV3s.
