Hello all just loving the new K3, All is well except one thing. I
don't seem to have any way to mute the built in speaker. When I plug in phones either in the front or rear the speaker does not mute. I have set the SPKR+PH to "no" and SPKRS to "2" I did try FW 3.14 and a reload of the other firmware. I have a K3/100 with ATU and one optional filter 400hz. That is it. Like I said everything else working fine just this one issue. 73s de Jerome K8LF ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

[show rest of quote] It shouldn't matter what SPKRS is set to - if SPKR+PH is "no", the internal speaker should still be muted when headphones are plugged in. Muting appears to be done by an LM4950 on the DSP board. Perhaps Jerome has a defective one... Jerome, suggest you triple-check your settings, then contact k3support[at]elecraft.com ~Iain / N6ML ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Please contact k3support. 73, Lyle KK7P ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
