I also used my newly acquired K3 in the IARU last weekend. I had a run of
about 90 at 7.0183 MHz in just over an hour with stations above and below me
at S9+++ - no problem with the K3. The K3 filtering is far superior to my
FT2000, that I once thought would be difficult to surpass and is now my
back-up radio until I find another K3. N1MM, K3 and lots of pre-contest
practice with Morse Runner have vastly improved my CW rates.
