K3: Service and TRX-Manager

Hello!

I just had to resubscribe to share the excellent news.  I sent my K3 #1540 back to
the factory 1.5 weeks ago for updating with all hardware updates since it came out.
I received it yesterday and it is installed again and running better than ever!  When
they said it probably would take 2 weeks, I thought that meant 2 weeks in their shop
to await a turn!  Instead I received it back home and installed again in the shack in
under 2 weeks!  THANKS ELECRAFT!!

Now that I have it back again, I thought I would see if I could install my E-MU sound
card and LP-PAN again.  I gave up on it when I got them a couple years ago because of
the way I had my system set up at the time.  But when I noticed last week that the
most recent update to TRX-Manager included support for the new TRX-PAN, I installed
the LP-PAN and E-MU sound card and am off to the races with TRX-PAN! What a great
tool this will be to use during the upcoming Es season on 6m!

I have used TRX-Manager as my logging program for many years, and obviously am very
happy with it.  But I am THRILLED with the huge support that F6DEX has given to the
K3 with his program.  I also use the TRX-Command function to store and execute all
the macros for my K3, and find it much more convenient than trying to put them in
buttons on the radio or in the K3 Utility (which has lost them in the past).

Actually, N8LP deserves a good share of the credit along with F6DEX.  They've developed TRX-Manager jointly.

Of course I meant to say they've developed TRX-PAN jointly (not TRX-Manager).
