K3 - Soft Padded Carrying Case from REI

Robin Diane Goldstein
i've been looking for a form-fitting(ish) carrying bag for my K3,
mic, log book, etc. and happened to stumble across a case at the
local REI Outdoor/Hiking/Sports store.  wrote up a little description
complete with photos you can see on my blog:

http://w6rdg.blogspot.com/2009/09/cool-case-for-my-k3.html

i know when it comes to cases, one size does not fit all, but this is
working a treat for me!

That's not bad, but I prefer this one

from Rose's Cases, especially since it is made for the K3, there is no
problem with it being too tight and pressing in on the main tuning knob etc.

hi bob... i looked at rose's cases and they are beautiful and fit
'perfectly' as they're custom, but they don't have enough padding for
my purposes, and are a bit pricey compared  the REI case.  however,
if someone wanted to -give- me one or rose's cases, i certainly
wouldn't complain! (smile)
