We're getting closer !
I see that the latest Errata for the KRX3 manual (12/1/09) includes operating instructions for when the Main and Sub receivers become fully independent . Maybe there should be a day named after the event... :-) 73 Stewart G3RXQ _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Independence Day? :) Definitely making progress on this. Right now I'm listening to a repeater on 145.23 on VFO A (via an XV144 transverter), and my favorite AM all-news station (740 kHz) on VFO B. Yesterday I handed off an early version of this firmware to our field testers. They'll beat on it for awhile, after which it'll be released as rev 3.00. 73, Wayne N6KR --- http://www.elecraft.com _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Would be great to have the following options for the SUB for use by Shortwave and AM Broadcast Listeners:
-- for the SUB only, 5-KHz tuning steps for the AM mode shortwave freqs, using the CLR knob. And 10-KHz or 9-KHz steps for the AM Broadcast band freqs. This for the SUB only. The current program has this for VFO-A, but not for the SUB only. (Or I han't figured it out yet.) -- Independent Memory channels just for the SUB. This for SW Listening and AM Broadcast listening on SUB, without any impact on VFO-A. The current program Memory channel set-up, as I understand it, impacts both VFO's together, or just VFO-A. \ Thanks ! 73 de Mark
