K3 Sub receiver

Hi Folks,
I've been scratching my head for a couple weeks and finally decided to ask for a bit of help.
Is there a way to enter a frequency via the numerical keyboard to the Sub-receiver? So far I have been setting a frequency into VFO-A then pressing the A/B key. This is a bit cumbersome but it gets the task done. And I guess there is no way to use the Sub-receiver with the 2 K144-XV2 transverter.
