We're working on a T-shirt for Dayton. We already have several
candidate slogans for the back, but if anyone has an extremely witty, very concise slogan they'd like to contribute, please send it directly to [hidden email]. Must be 10 words or less, and must contain the word "K3" in large type somewhere within. Examples: "They finally shot the engineers: K3!" tnx Wayne N6KR --- http://www.elecraft.com _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. From: <[hidden email]> > > Everest was already taken, so we called it K3 > I was thinking something along the lines of: It came, I called, I conquered: K3 However slogans sometimes have other meanings when they cross the pond. On this side of the pond we know the K series as telephone boxes. The K3
was a smaller concrete version of the K2, 12000 made. :0) http://www.redphonebox.info/history.htm ----- Original Message ----- From: <[hidden email]> To: <[hidden email]> Sent: Sunday, April 29, 2007 8:25 AM Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K3 T-shirt slogans needed > > > Everest was already taken, so we called it K3 > > --- > > KX1, K1, K2, K3! > _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. The Elcraft World Tour:
1999 K2 ???? K1 ???? K2/100 ???? KX1 ???? KV-50 ???? KV-144 ???? KV-222 2006 KV-432 2007 K3 tba KPA800 tba KPA1500 In the style of tour t-shirts from rock bands. Not sure about the dates and the order, but you get the idea. The list can be as long as all Elecraft products, or as short as can still fit on one shirt. _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. > Must be 10 words or less, and must contain the > word "K3" in large type somewhere within. Back of shirt with circular layout - but no circle line On top part of circle: Follow Me To In center of circle: Large "K3" initials (maybe include a jagged mountain outline under or through the initials? or hey how about a picture of the front of the K3?)- now we are getting into expensive T-shirt production! On bottom part of circle centered: Elecraft On shirt front - on upper left - small font "Elecraft" - centered under it "K3" 73 -- Don N4HH _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
