I noticed recently that my K3, which has the ATU and KPA, suddenly started developing strange transmit problems and TXG errors. Out of nowhere, transmitting on 10 and 15 meters, sometimes 30, gives me strange power output "dips" during transmit. I have the K3 attached to a brand new Astron RS-50M, which shows no signs of trouble.
I tried the TXG cal suspecting something had gone awry, but it immediately failed when power would not rise above about 3W on 160M. I then did an EE Init, reloaded from my saved config, but that didn't help. I've checked my cables and even switched my DL and moved my power junction box (suspecting perhaps RFI) but no luck.
Any advice?
