K3 Time?

Don Rasmussen
Rumblings have it that the K3 factory has it's lights
on 24/7 lately. They are wanting to ship in volume.

I'll speculate that it's not for financial reasons and
respectfully suggest that they not press beyond what's
good for the long haul on my account alone. ;-)

I rarely buy version 1.0 of anything, I'm in for the
first K3's because I know the guys will be there over
the long term. I remember at age 12 when my father
built my first rig, an HW-16, I could see it in the
dining room, a little bit more finished every other
nite. Father a non ham, would often stay up until
midnight with it and that after a 12 hour day at the
office.

The wait was well worth it and when it was completed
it worked 100% and looked it.

A lot of that (then) feels like a good bit of this
(now). Although this time I'm not waiting to make my
first QSO! ;-)

So, are you volunteering to move to the back of the line?  What a nice thing
to do. ;-)
