This list is quickly becoming somewhat of a waste of time to read. There are those who would like to redesign the K3 or critique various aspects of it, such as distortion or keying, to those who would like it personalized for themselves. It seems like Elecraft gives an inch and then many want to take a mile. I have to wonder if many of these folks ever just operate their K3? It's a fine radio just as it is. Why not just get on the air and enjoy it? That's what I'm going to do rather than spend time looking at each post. Posts about things like xvtr operation or various settings are fine, but all of the numbers from various "tests" might be best discussed directly rather than take up lotrs of space on here.

I enjoy all the chatter on this list. The messages I do not care about, I
do not read in their entirety. I for one, do not want this list censored. In reply to this post by Dave Agsten
I quite prefer all the comments about people trying to improve the
distortion numbers as it is quite unusually high out the line out port. Some people have put quite a bit of time into making measurements and even coming up with possible solutions. If people weren't doing this the K3 wouldn't be the radio it is today. These messages are what make Elecraft Elecraft. Keep it coming!
