[K3] Tune beep too loud

Is there a way to adjust the audio beep level which is heard when TUNE, ATU TUNE, ATU, or ANT are engaged? I have set MON to 0, SW TONE is off. I hear it on SPKR and front and rear panel PHONES. When using my CM500 headphones (or any other headphones that I have) I grimace when I have to engage TUNE as the beep is way too loud. The beep stays the same volume whether AF/RF gain is max or min. I don't remember seeing anything on the reflector and I have been through the D10 manual (if a reference is there, I couldn't find it.) Please let me know if you know how to adjust. Thanks! Jim WN8A

Anyone know how to do a hard reset. I tried the holding SHIFT and
turning on power but it still is locked and display shows MCU. Power
button don't work. Can only shut off K3 by removing power. I do have a
copy of current config saved but can't get K3 to reload. Anyone have a
suggestion??

Dick,

I assume you are using a K3 and it is locked in MCU Load state.  A hard
reset in not normally required in that instance.  Look in the K3 manual
(or the K3 Utility Help file) for the instructions on how to force a
firmware load.  Follow those instructions 'to the letter', and your K3
should recover.

The "hard reset" is EEINIT - check the manual for the procedure - you
will have to restore from a saved configuration or set up all the menu
parameters manually 'from scratch'.
