[K3] Turning filters off/on

Gary, W7TEA
I have the 500 and 200 hz filters installed.  Most of the time I prefer using the 500 hz filter even when narrowing the DSP filtering to 200 hz or below.  Is there an easy and fast way to engage the 200 hz roofing filter during those rare occasions when it is needed without going into the config menu to turn it on?

tnx, Gary W7TEA

Gary the simplest way is to use  K3 Utility > Configuration > Edit Crystal Filters  instead of the K3's CONFIG menu.  Once you have that menu active it's very easy to toggle the 200 on or off.

What about to "map" FLx yes/no menu to PFx button?
You have then very fast access to mapped function.

I believe that you can hit the XFIL button and force the narrower filter.  I think when I was installing new filters the other day that I could force an off filter to be used.  It went away on the next filter change by width.
