K3 USB/LSB mode selection

Mike Scott-7
Am I stupid or what, okay don't go there.
I went to 60M to listen to the channelized band. I went to select upper
sideband and just how does one do that? My mode options are LSB, CW, Data,
AM.
I haven't found anything yet in the operator guide to help other than I
should be able to toggle to USB by tapping the mode switch. It just isn't
there when I do it. The sideband selections seem to be hard coded by band.

Mike,

The sideband selections are not hard coded, but they are remembered per
band.  You must set it up once and then the correct sideband will be
remembered (until you change it).
If the sideband is not correct for a particular band, hold ALT and it
will change.  SSB now works the same way as CW and RTTY modes (which
also have sideband selection capability).
Yes, this is a relatively new thing.  Check the firmware release notes.
I believe a compilation of the newer firmware features may be
forthcoming, but in the meantime please read the release notes to see
what the changes have been.

If you are in LSB and want USB, press ALT on the MODE switch and it will
toggle between USB and LSB.
