Hi guys.
Any idea what would be causing the K3's built-in ammeter to constantly
fluctuate around 1-3A, and the voltmeter to constantly fluctuate between
13.3 and 14.0V on receive?
I occasionally notice HI CURR warnings, and the rig resets itself from
SPKRS=2 to SPKRS=1.
The PSU itself is fine - stable at 13.77V (measured at the PSU end) on
receive, dropping to 13.13V when transmitting a 100W carrier.
While checking the readings for this email I noticed that the ammeter
stabilized at 1.07A for about a minute after I've transmitted at 100W for a
few seconds, before going back to the 1-4A fluctuations. I wonder if this
might be related to the PA pin corrosion problems reported on some K3s?
Mine is S/N 2887.
