K3 Useful tip

G3MLO
I decided to revamp the operating position to install
the new K3, it sits on a shelf about 6" above the desk
top, I found, due to the light weight that when operating
the push buttons the rig was sliding around, a solution was
found by sitting it on a "grip mat" found over here in any DIY
store or tool supply outlet, its used for gripping timber when
using a router...... it now stays firm like it gained 100lbs in
weight.

Great idea, Peter.  I've had the same problem with my K2.  FYI, a
somewhat thinner (and less expensive) variety of this non-slip
material is also sold as shelf liner, to keep dishes, glasses, etc.
from sliding around on shelves in the kitchen cupboards.
