The terminal tab provides a nice CW keyboard, except that I'm not able to
maintain it in "Transmit" mode without keeping the buffer populated. Does anyone know of a way to do that? It would surely make normal QSOs less of a chore. Many thanks to all who responded; increasing the "timeout" did just what I
needed. 73, Bob, N2UU -----Original Message----- From: Elecraft [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Robert Weiman Sent: Tuesday, June 10, 2014 11:55 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: [Elecraft] K3 Utility Terminal Program The terminal tab provides a nice CW keyboard, except that I'm not able to maintain it in "Transmit" mode without keeping the buffer populated. My K3 Utility Terminal page stays in Transmit when in mode CW. What K3
Utility version are you using? In RTTY & PSK there is a configurable timeout, click the "options" button and change the Idle Timeout to 3000 for 3 seconds or so... This is the "idle diddle" time. 73 de Dick, K6KR -----Original Message----- From: Elecraft [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Robert Weiman Sent: Tuesday, June 10, 2014 8:55 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: [Elecraft] K3 Utility Terminal Program The terminal tab provides a nice CW keyboard, except that I'm not able to maintain it in "Transmit" mode without keeping the buffer populated.
