K3 Utility Terminal tab with P3 - early "alpha" version available.

A new "alpha" version of the Elecraft K3 Utility is available on our FTP
site for those that wish to test the K3 Utility's Terminal page with their
P3.

Previous versions of the K3 Utility used a "text to terminal" function of
the K3 that delivered individual characters as they arrived.  This technique
didn't work through the P3 panadaptor.

 

I've changed the K3 Utility to use a new K3 MCU firmware version 3.89
function (called "text buffer") that works through an inline P3 (and it
appears to be a little smoother as well).

 

K3 MCU firmware 3.89 or later is required to use the Terminal Page.  The K3
Utility no longer supports for the older Text-to-Terminal technique.

 

I've not added any new user-visible function to the K3 Terminal Page, this
was enough change for a given version. I have a couple of feature requests
that might be added later. I need to get this part working well first.
