The help file problem with gtkhtml path not found continues despite all 32
bit and 64 bit correct libraries installed. Dick if you are reading, a user definable path preference box would be handy to set an open command direct to the main page in the help folder with browser of choice or gconf default, activated by the help submenu. This would allow for various linux distros etc . Gtkhtml would not be required. Is there a way to toggle transmit in terminal? I found FSK-D RTTY works great. When calling a DXpedition the ability to lock the transmit on, between tapping RTTY calls as can be done on windows is an advantage. Thanks for reading. Adrian, I'm not the developer of the K3 Utility for Mac or Linux. W4SMT
ports the Windows version that I write to those platforms. You should be able to put your call into a CW memory with a terminating vertical bar (e.g., "K6KR|") and just press a K3 front panel memory button to send your call and immediately terminate transmit in RTTY as well as CW. I could remove the code that cuts off "diddle" upon running out of input buffer, but the K3's MCU will time out the diddle after a few seconds anyway, so it won't "lock on" for an indefinite period. I'm looking into other ways to do this, but there are a lot of things on my task list ahead of this. 73 de Dick, K6KR -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Adrian Sent: Wednesday, February 01, 2012 12:48 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: [Elecraft] K3 Utility fedora 16 The help file problem with gtkhtml path not found continues despite all 32 bit and 64 bit correct libraries installed.
